O’Rielly Factor gets served. Statistics trump bimbo pundits anyday.
Children… children…
See? This is what happens when you abandon me and my E70 the way you did… hope you’re enjoying 66% fewer profits this quarter! Oh, and Symbian SUCKS!
…and yet we’re still busting hippies and city kids for holding a dime bag. Bring back prohibition!
What? My green propane-fired lawn eradicator isn’t eco-sense compliant? My favorite: Comcast’s “Eco-Billing” option to kill the paper bill (it saves them money, not the environment).
My new hero in congress, NY-D Rep. Eric Massa, introduces a bill that makes broadband capping illegal and bandwidth metering illegal, as enforced by the FCC. At least SOMEONE is keeping up on how to keep consumers advocated and the e-Conomy 2.0 humming along…
Man, this would be a headshot to every having TV service again for me, not to mention a brilliant move on the part of Microsoft in cementing their console as the center of a home media center. My loins quiver in geeky anticipation…
The title kinda says it all.
He did it :)
“We will devote more than three percent of our GDP to research and development… This represents the largest commitment to scientific research and innovation in American history.” - Prez Obama
The president has pledged the largest chunk of change in US history (more than even during the space race) to science and engineering. Mostly to innovating new energy technologies. This is on par with (and actually surpasses) what Kennedy did with the Apollo space missions, and could be one of the most important scientific undertakings in our lifetime. Potentially, this could take a big bite out of unclean energy, reduce dependence on foreign oil significantly, and give us many jobs and many, many amazing gadgets to play with for ages to come. We’re still enjoying the techno-riches of the space race, after all.
That’s a long-overdue first. These pirates had it way too easy for too long. The high seas are back - Yarrr.
Oops. Engadget calls out Gizmodo’s report (which, for the record, didn’t jive with my understanding of how the util worked, but I wanted so badly to believe) in a good old fashioned blog smackdown.
